Beginner

Beginner sewing patterns teach the most foundational sewing techniques. In addition, beginner patterns omit closures, making them perfect if you are new to sewing or are looking for a quick and easy make.

Advanced Beginner

Advanced Beginner sewing patterns expand on the skills learned at the beginner level, helping you to build confidence and range as a sewer. You'll find simple knitwear projects, bias tape finishing techniques, and begin to explore closures at this skill level.

Intermediate

Intermediate level sewing patterns focus on more precision sewing. In this skill level, you'll learn specialty closures. Intermediate patterns also introduce the skills needed for simple lingerie and athletic wear projects.

Advanced

Advanced sewing patterns require great precision and time investment. You'll find tailored pieces in this category with elevated details like bound buttonholes and welt pockets.

Fitted Crew Neck T-Shirt

Morgan is a fitted crew neck tee designed to be a reliable staple in your wardrobe. Close-fitting throughout, it layers beautifully and works just as well on its own. The classic crew neckline is finished with a band for a clean, timeless look, while the short sleeves keep it easy and versatile.

Designed to hit just below the high hip, Morgan pairs effortlessly with both high- and mid-rise bottoms. Simple details like single-fold hems give it a neat finish that’s quick to sew and easy to wear again and again.

Fabric & Supplies

Medium weight knit fabrics with 50% 4-way stretch such as cotton jersey, bamboo jersey, rib knits, french terry, and pointelle knits.

All-purpose polyester sewing thread, a ballpoint sewing machine needle, and a ballpoint twin needle.

Sizing & Fit

Eden is wearing the Morgan T-Shirt in a size 2. We added 1" to the body length.Her measurements are bust: 33 3/4" (85.7 cm), waist: 25 3/4" (65.4 cm), hip: 36 1/4" (92.1 cm), and she is 5'8" (172.7 cm) tall.

Franki is wearing the Morgan T-Shirt in a size 22. We increased the bust 1", increased neck width, increased the shoulder slope, and added 1/2" to the body length.Her measurements are bust: 51" (129.5 cm), waist: 42" (106.7 cm), hip: 53" (134.6 cm), and she is 5'6 1/2" (168.9 cm) tall.

00 – 30

Sizes 00-18 (Misses) are drafted for a C cup. Our size 8 fit model is 5’8”. Sizes 12-30 (Curvy) are drafted for a DD cup. Our size 20 fit model is 5’9”. Learn more about our sizing here
