Beginner

Beginner sewing patterns teach the most foundational sewing techniques. In addition, beginner patterns omit closures, making them perfect if you are new to sewing or are looking for a quick and easy make.

Advanced Beginner

Advanced Beginner sewing patterns expand on the skills learned at the beginner level, helping you to build confidence and range as a sewer. You'll find simple knitwear projects, bias tape finishing techniques, and begin to explore closures at this skill level.

Intermediate

Intermediate level sewing patterns focus on more precision sewing. In this skill level, you'll learn specialty closures. Intermediate patterns also introduce the skills needed for simple lingerie and athletic wear projects.

Advanced

Advanced sewing patterns require great precision and time investment. You'll find tailored pieces in this category with elevated details like bound buttonholes and welt pockets.

This bonus variation is designed to be used alongside the original Marigold pattern, which you’ll need to complete your garment.

This bonus variation gives Marigold an even more playful, breezy feel. A scoop cut-out at the back adds an unexpected detail, framed by a soft elastic finish that keeps the fit comfortable and easy to wear. The back yoke extends into a center back tie, adding movement and a romantic finishing touch.

All of the original details remain the same, including the softly gathered dress, adjustable straps, convenient forward-set pockets, and breezy midi length. The result is a version of Marigold that feels a little more elevated and special while maintaining the effortless comfort of the original.

Sizes 00-18 (Misses) are drafted for a C cup. Our size 8 fit model is 5’8”. Sizes 12-30 (Curvy) are drafted for a DD cup. Our size 20 fit model is 5’9”. Learn more about our sizing here
